Different conditions will affect the chronographed speed
of a handgun. The weight and shape of the pellet should
be taken into consideration. A lighter pellet will
increase the velocity. The above sea level altitude and
temperature will also make a difference. Having all this
in mind, it's normal for a variation of 5-10% depending
on conditions.

causing this? |

If your GAMO hand gun is firing at low pressure, it
could be that the CO2 cartridge is insufficiently
charged with gas, therefore unable to propel bb's or
pellets out of the barrel. Please try using a new CO2
cartridge.

my GAMO hand gun's rear sight be adjusted for windage and
elevation? |
|
The GAMO Compact-Target pistol and the R-77 revolver
series have a rear sight which is adjustable for windage
and elevation.

do I adjust the rear sight on a GAMO P-23, an Auto 45 or a
PT-80 Pistol? |
|
To adjust the rear sight, loosen the adjustment screw on
the top of the rear sight. Please refer to the Manual.
Once the sight has been adjusted, fix the sight into
place by tightening the adjustment screw.

width adjustment? |
|
The Compact pistol has a rear sight with a screw which
adjusts the width of the rear sight windage blade. This
helps the shooter improve accuracy while aligning the
front sight.

Turn clockwise to take it off. Gently press the sight
upwards to remove.

To replace the rear sight on the P-23 Pistol, using an
Allen wrench, take the screw out from the center of the
sight counter clockwise, then slide the sight out.

To replace the rear sight on the R-77 revolver series,
using a screwdriver, lift the lock pin located on the
left side of the rear sight. Using an Allen wrench,
remove screw furthest from the sight, take the barrel
out and slide the sight out.

|
To replace a rear sight on the Auto 45 Pistol, using a
screwdriver, lift the lock pin located on the left side
of the rear sight. Remove the screw on the right side of
the sight counter clockwise and slide the sight out.

is the 3 dot positioning sight on the PT-80 for? |
|
The 3 dot positioning sight on the PT-80 are the dots
located in the foresight (1) and in the rearsight(2).
This enables the shooter to quickly align the sight.

cartridge has been removed prior to cleaning an
obstruction. Slide the red lever of the magazine feeder
pin back until it catches in the slot. If possible,
shake the obstruction free of the magazine. If this does
not clear the magazine, insert a large needle or similar
object in the longitudinal groove to push the
obstruction out. Refer to the manual.

Make sure that the safety is "on" and the CO2
cartridge has been removed prior to cleaning an
obstruction. Open the barrel down and insert a cleaning
rod of the appropriate caliber for your handgun into the
opening of the barrel. Push the rod through the barrel
with the brush attachment of the cleaning rod to remove
any lead particles that may be adhered to the rifling.
